Letting Go of Old Frameworks

I had a great conversation on @TheLeadershipPodcast with @janrutherford and @jimvaselopulos about Letting Go of Old Frameworks. You can listen here: https://bit.ly/TLP-491

We explored something that matters more than ever in leadership today: how we think, decide, and act in the face of unprecedented change.

We talked about why the biggest barrier to progress isn’t external pressure — it’s our own need to be right and our attachment to what used to work. I shared insights on:
• letting go of old mental models that no longer serve us
• why deep listening and whole-body awareness are critical leadership muscles
• how leaders can build learning cultures that thrive with AI, not in spite of it

This ties directly into Level 7 Leadership (book coming in 1Q) - where the work isn’t just about adapting to complexity, it’s about evolving how we show up: more intuition, less ego; more curiosity, less certainty; and more courage to reinvent — not just optimize.
